LA BICYCLETTE

¡Buenos días chicos! La escena que os traigo hoy está impregnada de ese aire vintage que tanto me gusta cuando se trata de visualización arquitectónica. Y es que para mí las texturas envejecidas, desgastadas y con imperfecciones son lo que más fotorrealismo aporta a una infografía.

Sabéis que adoro los espacios abuhardillados, y este no podía ser menos. La separación del dormitorio y la zona de trabajo mediante esa estantería que a su vez actúa a modo de puerta es perfecta, sutil pero efectiva. Yo describiría este espacio como un "rincón para crear". ¡Lo bien que me habría venido un lugar así para encerrarme a hacer mi proyecto fin de carrera! Jajaja, no me puedo creer que ya haga un año, ¡el tiempo vuela!

Good morning folks! Today's scene has a great vintage atmosphere, which I love when it comes to architectural visualization. For me, aged, rusty textures are what really make the photorrealism in rendering.

You know I love this type of attic spaces. I think it's a great idea to separate the sleeping area and the studio by that shelves, which also act as kind of a door. I would say this is a perfect "space for creating". I wish I had had a space like this one when I made my final degree project! I can't believe it was a year ago, time really flies!

BRIGHTEN IT UP

¡Buenos días de viernes! Hoy, os traigo una nueva sección en el blog, en la que veremos el antes y el después de espacios que han sido sometidos a un lavado de cara, con un resultado espectacular. Para empezar, quiero enseñaros lo que hizo mi adorada Sarah Sherman Samuel con el salón de Eden Passante, la chica detrás de Sugar and Charm. Fijaos cómo una estancia un tanto anodina, con un buen espacio de base pero carente de fuerza, puede convertirse un lugar tan luminoso y acogedor como el que veis en las fotos. ¡Y sin obras!

Ha conseguido ese punto rural jugando con las texturas naturales de la madera y la rafia, aderezado con el toque cozy de los cojines de lino, el pelo o la preciosa alfombra. Me encanta el estallido de amarillo en medio de una gama neutra, que llena el salón de vida; y para rematarlo, las pinceladas de negro le dan el toque sofisticado.

¿Qué os parece? ¿Os gustaría que hubiera más posts del tipo antes y después?

Happy Friday morning! Today, I'm starting a new section at the blog, where we will go through spaces which have been renovated, with stunning results. So, the first one is the amazing styling my beloved Sarah Sherman Samuel made in Eden Passante', living room (the girl behind Sugar and Charm). Just look at how a boring room,  is turned into such a glowing and warm place. And the most importatn thing: without construction works!

She gets a cozy rural ambient thanks to natural textures such as wood and raffia, helped by the linen cushions, fur ant that wonderful rug. I love that pop of yellow among a neutral palette, filling with life the room; and, to finish with, some black strokes put a sophisticated touch.

BACK TO WORK!

¡Por fin estoy de vuelta! Ha sido un verano de lo más movidito, pero ya tenía ganas de volver al blog :) Y para este primer post del curso, he querido enseñaros unas imágenes que reflejan perfectamente mi "estado mental" actual: como algunos sabréis, estoy cursando un máster en visualización arquitectónica y 3D, un tema que me apasiona (por si había quedado alguna duda, jaja). Ya estamos en la recta final, y por eso ahora mismo, mi cabeza y mis días están tan a tope de trabajo como este (increíble) estudio. No obstante, durante estos últimos meses de curso intentaré actualizar tanto como me sea posible!

En cuanto a la escena, me ha cautivado por lo increíblemente trabajadas que están las texturas, desgastadas, pulidas por el uso, resquebrajadas... y por supuesto, esas manchas de mil colores que sin duda son lo que más llama la atención de todo el espacio. El autor ha atiborrado la escena de objetos sin descuidar el fotorrealismo de ninguno de ellos, haciendo un trabajo de lo más exhaustivo que me ha dejado boquiabierta. Creo que las imágenes reflejan genial esa sensación que todos hemos tenido alguna vez, donde todo está localizado dentro de nuestro perfecto desorden, y no paramos de pensar en lo felices que seremos cuando pase el día de la entrega! Jajaja!

I'm finally back! After a non-stop summer, I really needed to get back to the blog :) For this first September post, I wanted to show you these images, which reflect how I actually feel right now. As some of you know, I'm studying a CGI and architectural visualization master's degree, and we are getting close to the end, which means tons of work! However, I will try to keep you posted as much as I can.

Talking about the scene, I was totally caught by the extremely well crafted textures, aged and cracked; and of course by all those multi color spots, which the most eye-catching thing in the space. The artist has stuffed the scene with lots and lots of objects, but taking equal care of all of them, which results in an amazing photorealism. I think these renderings can fully depict that stressing feeling most of us has suffered more than once!

GIRLY

¡Hola chicos! Hace unos días, os enseñe el salón de Bri Emery, (Design Love Fest) y hoy no he podido resistirme a enseñaros su dormitorio. Una estancia en tonos suaves, con el ligero toque femenino que da el rosa en sutiles pinceladas. No suelo dedicar un post completo a enseñaros una habitación, pero estas últimas están tan llenas de detalles y elementos imposibles de pasar por alto, que creo que merece la pena verlas más a fondo. ¿Qué opináis? ¿Nueva sección en el blog, quizá? ;)

Hi people! Some days ago, I showed you Bri Emery's living room (Design Love Fest), and today I couldn't help posting a few photos of her bedroom. A room where soft tones are everything, with a subtle feminine touch given by some brushtrokes of pink here and there. I don't usually dedicate a complete post to talk about a sole room, but these last ones are so plenty of details and elements that cannot be passed by, that I think it's worth giving a deeper look to them. What do you think? May be a new blog section? ;)

CLASSIC BERLIN

¡Hola chicos! Terminamos el fin de semana con estas imágenes de un apartamento berlinés. Una visualización arquitectónica que me ha conquistado por la simplicidad de la paleta de colores y por el suelo de madera en espina de pez, un clásico que nunca falla. Sabéis que soy muy fan de las molduras, y estas tienen un aire más contemporáneo que las que os he enseñado otras veces, pero precisamente esa vuelta de tuerca modulando la pared es lo que para mí le da el toque a los espacios.

Por otra parte, en cuanto a la infografía en sí, está especialmente conseguida la luz y el movimiento de las cortinas, creando esa sensación de ligereza.

Hi guys! To finish this weekend, here are these images recreating an apartment in Berlin. An architectural visualization that caught my heart because of its simple color palette, and that herringbone timber floor, a classical feature which always works. You know I'm a big fan of mouldings, and these ones have kind of a more contemporary air than the ones I have shown you in earlier occasions, but it's exactly this twist what, for me, gives the point to the spaces.

On the other hand, talking about the rendering itself, I think the lighting it's specially well depicted, as well as the curtains movement, which creates a lightness feeling.
