¡Buenos días! Si el viernes pasado os mostraba estas infografías que recreaban un impresionante café, hoy, para celebrar que es viernes otra vez, volvemos al mundo hostelero, aunque el local que os enseño a continuación es 100% real. Se trata de un gastrobar de cocina ecológica española situado en Oslo, y creo que su interiorismo no puede reflejar mejor esta mezcla. Con esa base neutra y de tonos blancos y naturales que caracteriza al estilo nórdico, pero introduciendo notas de color y elementos que recuerdan a la cultura andaluza: el mimbre, las celosías de madera, la reja de forja (pintada en blanco para darle ese aire escandinavo), los maceteros, la loza... ¿Qué os parece la combinación? ¡A mí me tiene enamorada!

Good morning! Last Friday, I showed you these renderings which recreated a stunning café; so, to celebrate it's Friday again (yay!) I wanna go back to the bar-restaurant-café thing, but the today's place is 100% real. It' a Spanish ecologic gastrobar in Oslo, and its interior design absolutely reflects this mix. On a neutral base, the white and natural tones which usually are so present on nordic style, the designers introduce pops of color and some elements that make us think of  Andalusian culture: rattan, wooden lattices, the foundry grill (painted in white, to make that scandinavian touch), plant pots, the pottery tiles, etc How do you feel about this combination? I absolutely love it!

INDUSTRIAL CAFÉ

¡Buenos días chicos! Como os he contado alguna vez, una de las cosas que más me fascinan en visualización arquitectónica es la creación de texturas gastadas, ensuciadas, resquebrajadas o con cualquier tipo de deterioro visible, creo que dan un punto de hiperrealismo genial (os enseñé mi propia versión la semana pasada). El ejemplo que os traigo hoy no lo puede ilustrar mejor: el artista ha recreado un espacio que desprende ese aire industrial chic que tanto nos gusta, y la verdad es que el resultado es una pasada.

Las texturas están en general increíblemente trabajadas: el suelo agrietado, la pared desconchada, los ladrillos, los arañazos de la mesilla...pero lo que más me llama la atención es cómo ha conseguido representar el desgaste en las sillas y taburetes Tolix...¡genial!

Desde luego, si este bar existiera en algún lugar aparte de la mente del artista, me encantaría tomarme un café allí :)

Good morning folks! I told you sometimes about how much I love introducing dirt, scratches, stains, etc. in architectural visualization. I think that is what gives the hiperrealism plus to the rendering (last week I showed you my own version). Today's example can't get any better for this: the artist has recreated an amazing space with that industrial chic air we love so much.

General textures are really well crafted: cracked floor, walls, dirty bricks, scratched coffee table, etc. But what has impressed me the more is how he got that awesome old look in the Tolix furniture...great, don't you think so?

I whish this café existed anywhere apart from the artist's mind, because I'd love to go there for a coffee!

CELEBRATE FALL

¡Buenos días! Ha sido duro despedirse del verano (con el tiempo que tenemos en el sur, aún mas ;)), pero, lo queramos o no, el otoño ya está aquí! Me encanta esta época del año, cuando empiezan a apetecer los jerseys, mantitas... así que he decidido empezar este lunes hablándoos de celebraciones otoñales. Quiero enseñaros cómo con algunos detalles que la propia naturaleza nos ofrece en esta estación del año, podemos darle a nuestras mesas un aire otoñal. Y cuando hablo de celebraciones, me refiero a cualquier motivo, por pequeño que sea, para darle un toque de bonitismo a nuestro día a día! :D #cualquierexcusaesbuena

Good morning! It was a bit hard to say goodbye summer (even more thanks to the warm temperatures over here), but, we want it or not, autumn is here to stay! I really love this time of the year, when days get chilly and we start using again sweaters and cozy clothes. So, I decided to start this Monday talking about fall celebrations. I would like to show you how easy it is to make our table a little autumn-like, just using simple things we can get from nature in this season of the year. Of course, when I say celebrations, I mean any little reason to fill our daily life with cute details! :D #anyexcuseisgood

Con este post estoy participando en la fiesta de enlaces #DiarioDeco16, una iniciativa que descubrí hace muy poquito y me resultó super interesante! :D

BRIGHTEN IT UP

¡Buenos días de viernes! Hoy, os traigo una nueva sección en el blog, en la que veremos el antes y el después de espacios que han sido sometidos a un lavado de cara, con un resultado espectacular. Para empezar, quiero enseñaros lo que hizo mi adorada Sarah Sherman Samuel con el salón de Eden Passante, la chica detrás de Sugar and Charm. Fijaos cómo una estancia un tanto anodina, con un buen espacio de base pero carente de fuerza, puede convertirse un lugar tan luminoso y acogedor como el que veis en las fotos. ¡Y sin obras!

Ha conseguido ese punto rural jugando con las texturas naturales de la madera y la rafia, aderezado con el toque cozy de los cojines de lino, el pelo o la preciosa alfombra. Me encanta el estallido de amarillo en medio de una gama neutra, que llena el salón de vida; y para rematarlo, las pinceladas de negro le dan el toque sofisticado.

¿Qué os parece? ¿Os gustaría que hubiera más posts del tipo antes y después?

Happy Friday morning! Today, I'm starting a new section at the blog, where we will go through spaces which have been renovated, with stunning results. So, the first one is the amazing styling my beloved Sarah Sherman Samuel made in Eden Passante', living room (the girl behind Sugar and Charm). Just look at how a boring room,  is turned into such a glowing and warm place. And the most importatn thing: without construction works!

She gets a cozy rural ambient thanks to natural textures such as wood and raffia, helped by the linen cushions, fur ant that wonderful rug. I love that pop of yellow among a neutral palette, filling with life the room; and, to finish with, some black strokes put a sophisticated touch.
