LA BICYCLETTE

¡Buenos días chicos! La escena que os traigo hoy está impregnada de ese aire vintage que tanto me gusta cuando se trata de visualización arquitectónica. Y es que para mí las texturas envejecidas, desgastadas y con imperfecciones son lo que más fotorrealismo aporta a una infografía.

Sabéis que adoro los espacios abuhardillados, y este no podía ser menos. La separación del dormitorio y la zona de trabajo mediante esa estantería que a su vez actúa a modo de puerta es perfecta, sutil pero efectiva. Yo describiría este espacio como un "rincón para crear". ¡Lo bien que me habría venido un lugar así para encerrarme a hacer mi proyecto fin de carrera! Jajaja, no me puedo creer que ya haga un año, ¡el tiempo vuela!

Good morning folks! Today's scene has a great vintage atmosphere, which I love when it comes to architectural visualization. For me, aged, rusty textures are what really make the photorrealism in rendering.

You know I love this type of attic spaces. I think it's a great idea to separate the sleeping area and the studio by that shelves, which also act as kind of a door. I would say this is a perfect "space for creating". I wish I had had a space like this one when I made my final degree project! I can't believe it was a year ago, time really flies!

WISHBONE

¡Hola chicos! La visualización arquitectónica de hoy viene en forma de vídeo. Un espectacular salón-comedor separado de la cocina por una mampara de vidrio que, como vimos en este post, amplía visualmente el espacio dando sensación de continuidad. La enorme cocina de estilo industrial casa genial con el aire escandinavo que le dan al salón las sillas Wishbone, y ese reloj de pared de mármol se está convirtiendo en una necesidad ;)

Las infografías en vídeo son una forma más de visualizar el espacio, que casi nos permite introducirnos en él, y ésta, de planos tan elegantes y sutiles, es la primera de las que os iré enseñando con el tiempo.

Hi guys! Today's architectural visualization comes as a video. A gorgeous dining-living room, divided from the kitchen by a glass wall which, as we saw on this post, makes the space feel wider, creating a continuous feeling. The huge industrial kitchen goes greatly with the Scadinavian touch added to the dining room by the Whishbone chairs, and that marble clock is seriously becoming a need ;)

Video-renderings are another great way of visualizing space, making us almost getting inside the room. This, with its elegant and subtle planes, is the first one I show you, but there are more to come.

BRIGHT

¡Hola chicos! Hoy os enseño un apartamento donde la protagonista es la luz. Se trata de un espacio abuhardillado que, al contrario de  lo que suele ocurrir, se percibe con muchísima amplitud. El truco está en la doble altura del salón y, por supuesto, ese enorme lucernario que casi consigue convertirlo en una terraza. Al tener inclinación, hace que la luz llegue a más rincones de la casa y el efecto es espectacular.

El resto del piso tiene ese aire escandinavo que tanto nos gusta, y aunque soy muy fan de los colores neutros y el blanco y negro; tengo que decir que me encanta el toque de color azul vibrante en la pared del baño, ¡me parece de lo más veraniego!

Hi guys! Today's apartment has a clear protagonist: light. An attic-shaped space that, contrary to what usually happens, creates a wideness feeling. The key is the living room's double height and, of course, the great skylight, which almost makes the room feel like a terrace. By having that angle, it makes the light go further inside the house.

As for the rest of the house, it has that Scandinavian touch we like so much, and, although I am a big fan of neutral tones and black and white; I must say that I love the vibrant blue touch on the bathroom wall. It makes me think about summer!

COLORFUL

¡Hola a todos! Retomamos la serie de espacios pequeños con un mini apartamento que me ha encantado por su colorido. La mezcla de elementos aparentemente ecléctica pero con gran armonía (me encanta la combinación en las sillas del comedor) y la luz que entra a raudales consiguen que nos olvidemos de los escasos 38 m2 con los que cuenta la vivienda. ¿Qué opináis? ¿Creéis que se le puede sacar partido a espacios tan reducidos?

Hi guys! We keep on with our little spaces section talking about this mini apartment whose colorful atmosphere has truly caught my eye. The mix of elements, apparently eclectic but with a great harmony; together with tons of light bathing the whole house make us forget that it barely has 38 m2 (you can see the plan at the end). What do you think? Is it possible to take advantage of such a little space?

THE OFFICE

¡Buenos días! Hoy os enseño una nueva visualización arquitectónica, esta vez de una oficina-estudio en la que no me importaría para nada trabajar. Una pequeña cocina, una gran mesa de comedor (también apta para reuniones), una acogedora zona de descanso, una Smeg para que no falten provisiones, enormes ventanales por los que entra luz a raudales... bueno, y un rincón de trabajo, claro ;) Me ha encantado el detalle de la pantalla del ordenador trabajando en la propia escena que se renderiza (aquí está mi punto freak). La iluminación es impecable, y la textura desgastada del Chester está de lo más conseguida. ¿Qué opináis? ¿Diríais que es un render?

Good morning! Today I want to share with you a new architectural visualization, a charming little office where I wouldn't mind to work. A little kichen, a big dining table (also suitable for meetings), a comfortable resting area, a Smeg fridge where keeping the necessary supplies, huge windows which let tons of light in...well, and a working corner too, of course ;) I loved the detail of the computer rendering the same scene we are looking at (ok, that's my freak point). Illumination is simply perfect, and the Chester aged texture is really well depicted. What do you think? Would you say these are renderings?

GLASS

¡Buenos días chicos! Hoy seguimos hablando de visualización arquitectónica en línea industrial, aunque estas imágenes recrean un ambiente algo más lujoso. La escena que os enseño transmite una sensación de calma  y tranquilidad que en gran parte se debe a la fantástica iluminación que se ha conseguido, intensa pero sin ser deslumbrante.

Por otra parte, está llena de detalles que le dan un gran hiperrealismo: las bolsas de papel kraft con sus características arrugas, las verduras sobre la tabla de cortar, los servilleteros...pero lo que más me llama la atención es cómo se han representado los distintos tipos de cristal. La creación de este material en 3d no es nada sencilla, y más aún cuando se disponen cristales de distintas clases tan cerca en la imagen. Sin embargo, es increíble cómo las copas se perciben como un cristal más fino; mientras que los botes de cereales parecen visiblemente más gruesos y con el clásico destello verde en la zona de la tapa. El cristal de las botellas de vino se diferencia perfectamente del de la botella de aceite, y así podríamos seguir con las lámparas, los ventanales empañados...

Good morning people!Today, we keep talking about architectural visualization in an industrial style, but these images have sort of a more luxurious touch. The scene gives a calm and quiet feeling which, in large part, is due to the gorgeous light the author has put on it. It is strong yet not blinding.

Anyway, it is full of details which get a great hiperrealism: paper bags (wrinkles included), vegetables on the table, napking holders, etc. But what most catches my attention is how the different types of glass are represented. Creating this 3d material is a difficult task, moreover, when there are different kinds of glasses so near in the scene. However, it's amazing how glasses feel much more fine, whereas the cereal jars look like a thicker material, depicting a green hint in the cover zone. Wine bottles are perfectly distinguished from the oil one; and we could keep on talking about the light bulbs, misty windows, etc.

INDUSTRIAL LOFT

¡Buenos días chicos! Hoy aparcamos un poco la estética escandinava que tanto nos gusta, para enseñaros un loft menos "blanco" y quizá algo más masculino. Las infografías son obra de INT2 Architecture, un estudio que ya es todo un referente en la visualización arquitectónica de apartamentos. Para recrear el aire vintage, las texturas están muy trabajadas, y se consigue un gran hiperrealismo en las sillas desconchadas o el ladrillo pintado de azul tinta. Elementos como la gran lámpara de comedor o la alfombra crean un gran contraste con el tono industrial general, aunque si me dan a elegir, sin dudarlo me quedo con el baño. Los azulejos son una maravilla, y el lavabo-Singer es ¡tan bonito! Además, creo que es en el baño donde se ha logrado un mayor nivel de hiperrealismo en las imágenes.

Good morning! For today, we will put the always loved Scandinavian aesthetic aside, to show you this loft, which is less "white" and a little more masculine. The renderings were made by INT2 Architecture, who have become a reference point in apartments architectural visualization. To recreate the vintage atmosphere, textures are really well crafted, getting a great hiperrealism in the rusted chairs or the blue painted brick walls. Some elements such as the statement lamp or the carpet make a great contrast with the general industrial atmosphere; but, if I had to, I would undoubtedly choose the bathroom. Those floor tiles are simply gorgeous, and the Singer-sink is to die for. Furthermore, I think it's in the bathroom CG images where they have achieved the highest level of hiperrealism.
