¡Hola chicos! Hace unos días, os enseñe el salón de Bri Emery, (Design Love Fest) y hoy no he podido resistirme a enseñaros su dormitorio. Una estancia en tonos suaves, con el ligero toque femenino que da el rosa en sutiles pinceladas. No suelo dedicar un post completo a enseñaros una habitación, pero estas últimas están tan llenas de detalles y elementos imposibles de pasar por alto, que creo que merece la pena verlas más a fondo. ¿Qué opináis? ¿Nueva sección en el blog, quizá? ;)

Hi people! Some days ago, I showed you Bri Emery's living room (Design Love Fest), and today I couldn't help posting a few photos of her bedroom. A room where soft tones are everything, with a subtle feminine touch given by some brushtrokes of pink here and there. I don't usually dedicate a complete post to talk about a sole room, but these last ones are so plenty of details and elements that cannot be passed by, that I think it's worth giving a deeper look to them. What do you think? May be a new blog section? ;)

CLASSIC BERLIN

¡Hola chicos! Terminamos el fin de semana con estas imágenes de un apartamento berlinés. Una visualización arquitectónica que me ha conquistado por la simplicidad de la paleta de colores y por el suelo de madera en espina de pez, un clásico que nunca falla. Sabéis que soy muy fan de las molduras, y estas tienen un aire más contemporáneo que las que os he enseñado otras veces, pero precisamente esa vuelta de tuerca modulando la pared es lo que para mí le da el toque a los espacios.

Por otra parte, en cuanto a la infografía en sí, está especialmente conseguida la luz y el movimiento de las cortinas, creando esa sensación de ligereza.

Hi guys! To finish this weekend, here are these images recreating an apartment in Berlin. An architectural visualization that caught my heart because of its simple color palette, and that herringbone timber floor, a classical feature which always works. You know I'm a big fan of mouldings, and these ones have kind of a more contemporary air than the ones I have shown you in earlier occasions, but it's exactly this twist what, for me, gives the point to the spaces.

On the other hand, talking about the rendering itself, I think the lighting it's specially well depicted, as well as the curtains movement, which creates a lightness feeling.

JUNGLE INSIDE

¡Buenas tardes chicos! Como os avisé en este post, sigo con el modo verano on, y hoy quiero enseñaros el salón de la blogger Bri Emery, quien está detrás de Design Love Fest. O, lo que es lo mismo, cómo tener una selva en casa. Me encanta ese aire tan fresco y californiano que se respira en toda la estancia, y el protagonismo que toma el color turquesa (uno de mis colores favoritos ever).

En resumen, un salón nada escandinavo y mucho más colorido de lo que suele aparecer por aquí, pero ¡tan veraniego! ¡Espero que os guste chicos!

Good afternoon guys! As I told you in this post, I am completely into summer mood, so today I want to show you Bri Emery's living room, the blogger behind Design Love Fest. Or, in other words, how to have a jungle inside your house. I love the fresh and Californian atmosphere all over the room and how the turquoise elements immediately catch the eye (turquoise is one of my favourite colors ever).
So, this is a much more colorful space than what I usually share with you, and not Scandinavian at all but so summerish and refreshing! Hupe you guys like it!

WISHBONE

¡Hola chicos! La visualización arquitectónica de hoy viene en forma de vídeo. Un espectacular salón-comedor separado de la cocina por una mampara de vidrio que, como vimos en este post, amplía visualmente el espacio dando sensación de continuidad. La enorme cocina de estilo industrial casa genial con el aire escandinavo que le dan al salón las sillas Wishbone, y ese reloj de pared de mármol se está convirtiendo en una necesidad ;)

Las infografías en vídeo son una forma más de visualizar el espacio, que casi nos permite introducirnos en él, y ésta, de planos tan elegantes y sutiles, es la primera de las que os iré enseñando con el tiempo.

Hi guys! Today's architectural visualization comes as a video. A gorgeous dining-living room, divided from the kitchen by a glass wall which, as we saw on this post, makes the space feel wider, creating a continuous feeling. The huge industrial kitchen goes greatly with the Scadinavian touch added to the dining room by the Whishbone chairs, and that marble clock is seriously becoming a need ;)

Video-renderings are another great way of visualizing space, making us almost getting inside the room. This, with its elegant and subtle planes, is the first one I show you, but there are more to come.

INTO SUMMER MOOD

¡Buenas tardes de domingo! En estas fechas, totalmente inmersos en el verano y con las vacaciones a la vuelta de la esquina (o casi), no puedo evitar fijarme en este tipo de viviendas: un jardín perfecto para interminables barbacoas estivales, piscina, mucha luz, una terraza con vistas al mar... La casa de vacaciones de Michelle Kalpou en Australia es el lugar al que me teletransportaría hoy mismo sin pensarlo. Me ha enamorado el suelo con esas inmensas piezas de mármol, y el toque cálido y escandinavo que da el revestimiento de madera en algunas paredes; además del gesto atrevido al introducir un paño completamente negro en el baño.

Me imagino desayunando en esa terraza contemplando el mar y solo puedo decir vacaciones, ¡llegad ya!

Happy Sunday afternoon folks! By this time, completely into summer and with holidays getting near (sort of), I can't help myself putting my eye on this kind of houses: a perfect garden where making summer barbecues, a swimming pool, tons of light, a terrace looking to the sea... Michelel Kalpou's Australian vacation house is the place where I would be right now. I love the floor (that huge marble pieces are great), the warm and Scandinavian touch given by the wood walls; and the daring all black one in the bathroom.

I imagine myself having breakfast in that nice terrace, with those views and I can only say holidays, come to me!

THE GREEN OFFICE

¡Por fin viernes! Hoy quiero aprovechar la reciente inauguración del pabellón de la Serpentine Gallery, diseñado por el estudio español SelgasCano, para mostraros una visualización aquitectónica de otra de sus obras: su espectacular oficina en Madrid. Ubicada en un lugar inesperado, y semienterrada pero a la vez llena de luz, es un espacio de trabajo realmente inspirador. Estas infografías han sido realizadas por Alberto Germá, aunque si me dijeran que son fotografías reales me lo creería sin ningún problema. ¿No os parecen de un hiperrealismo increíble? Os dejo dos fotos al final, para que lo comprobéis vosotros mismos.

It's finally Friday! Summer Serpentine Pavillion was recently opened, and this year, the project was made by Spanish architecture office SelgasCano. I want to take this opportunity to show you an architectural visualization that recreates another of their works: their stunning office in Madrid. A half-buried but filled with light piece in an unexpected location, which is a truly inspiring work place. These renderings were made by Alberto Germá, but if someone told me they are real photographs, I would believe it with no doubts. Don't you think they are incredibly hiperrealist? I posted two real photos at the end, so that you can check it by your own.

BRIGHT

¡Hola chicos! Hoy os enseño un apartamento donde la protagonista es la luz. Se trata de un espacio abuhardillado que, al contrario de  lo que suele ocurrir, se percibe con muchísima amplitud. El truco está en la doble altura del salón y, por supuesto, ese enorme lucernario que casi consigue convertirlo en una terraza. Al tener inclinación, hace que la luz llegue a más rincones de la casa y el efecto es espectacular.

El resto del piso tiene ese aire escandinavo que tanto nos gusta, y aunque soy muy fan de los colores neutros y el blanco y negro; tengo que decir que me encanta el toque de color azul vibrante en la pared del baño, ¡me parece de lo más veraniego!

Hi guys! Today's apartment has a clear protagonist: light. An attic-shaped space that, contrary to what usually happens, creates a wideness feeling. The key is the living room's double height and, of course, the great skylight, which almost makes the room feel like a terrace. By having that angle, it makes the light go further inside the house.

As for the rest of the house, it has that Scandinavian touch we like so much, and, although I am a big fan of neutral tones and black and white; I must say that I love the vibrant blue touch on the bathroom wall. It makes me think about summer!
